Gamemodes

In Bloxd.io, there was this thing called Gamemodes. Gamemodes is like the "type" of the games. The most basic gamemode is survival, where you have to pretty much survive from players who are trying to kill people. But beside that, there are more gamemodes. Here are the list of the gamemodes that was in Bloxd.io:

Survival

You try to survive in the Survival gamemode. Survive from what? Well sometimes player keeps killing each other so yeah just becareful of some players. Especially the stacked ones.

Peaceful

Peaceful was probably Survival but PVP is disabled. To be honest I don't really like this gamemode like why don't add a toggle PVP button in Survival? But anyways, peaceful is perfect for those who are new to the game so they don't get killed. It's not really good for players who are good at the game...

Creative

Creative is not really that good. Creative is just another Survival but you don't have HPs (which means you're immortal) and you could also fly. If you open your inventory, you could see that you have all the blocks. Anyways this gamemode is good for building stuff so you won't die and you have unlimited blocks!

Bedwars

Bedwars has 3 types. 4v4v4v4, Duos, and Solos (Solos was removed.) They all have the same idea. You have one bed, and you have to protect it. If it breaks by other players, you can't respawn. In 4v4v4v4, you are teaming with 3 players (That means one team = 4 players.) In Duos, you have only one partner. In Solos, you fight alone REMOVED

Sky Wars

Sky Wars is a gamemode where you have to fight... but you're in the sky? Well this gamemode puts chests. Each chests has loots like armors, tools, blocks, food, and potions (and probably more.) Make sure you won't die or fall because if you do, you lose. There's also kits which is pretty much "what you start with." One of them is warrior which makes you start with an iron sword.

OneBlock

In OneBlock, you spawn in a block which is in the middle of the sky. You mine it to get items. There is also this thing called phases. Phases are pretty much like levels. The more you mine, the more phases you got. There is a portal and when you reach it, you have the ability to teleport to other people's island. You can also change the name of your island and you can allow some people you select to mine/place/check your chests in your island.

Greenville

Greenville is probably similar to roleplay. You get a house, you get money, you buy stuff.

CubeWarfare

You shoot people in this gamemode. You can select your gun. There was this gun called Double Barrel which is kind of OP in close range. Anyways, you could buy upgrades to expand your HP or get blocks and there's other upgrades beside that too!

EvilTower

Now, for Robloxians who knows ToH (Tower of Hell), well this is ToH. There are several levels. You have to go to the top of the tower. Good luck though, because I rage-quited twice.... Also I think there is powerups in this gamemode!

DoodleCube

DoodleCube is a gamemode where you have to draw using blocks. Every round will have a theme. Get coins to buy more blocks which will help to make better arts. This is kind of hard because it's not like drawing in a paper.

BloxdHop

BloxdHop is a parkour. You jump your way to the end of the parkour. You can get coins to get some powerups. Every round has a different map.

Hide and Seek

This gamemode is similar to "Prop Hunt." If you are the hider, you must disguise yourself as one of the blocks. Try to blend it. If you die as a hider, you will turn into a seeker. If you are the seeker, you must try to find the hiders. Remembering the whole map probably helps but it's hard. You are given a sword to kill the hiders.

Murder Mystery

Do you know the game in Roblox called Murder Mystery 2? Well this is similar to that game! There are 3 roles: Innocent, Sherrif, and Murderer. The innocent pretty much have to survive through the round and get some moonstones. If you get 10 moonstone, you can get a gun which can be only used once. While the sherrif has to shoot the murderer. The sherrif can also collect moonstones but I don't know if it gives a gun when it reaches 10 moonstone. The murderer has a sword and has to kill all the innocents and sherrif. There's also a death note that you can buy using coins.

Plots

Creative but it's superflat. I don't know what else to describe this worst gamemode. I guess this isn't worst at all because it won against Prison. This gamemode is perfect if you wanna make buildings without getting interupted I guess...

Worlds

Worlds are like servers in Minecraft. I don't really know how to describe this gamemode because it's not really a gamemode.

Pirates

ARR SEAMATES! Welcome to the Pirates gamemode! This gamemode has a shop for you! It pretty much like gives you starter kits like Sniper kit which gives you more arrows + diamond bow. The currency in this gamemodes is shiny coins and gems! To win, you must destroy all the enemy's spawn block.

There was also removed gamemodes. Here is the list:

  • The Bridge
  • The Pit
  • Solos
  • Conqueror
  • Walls
  • Prison (It got removed 3 times I think...)
  • Pirates (It got removed once)
  • Survival Royale

Duels

Duels was probably a PVP gamemode. It was released on June 28, 2023 as a limited-time gamemode. Like I said it lasted only for a while.... Well not really that while.

The Bridge

The Bridge was a gamemode where you have to fall into the enemies hole to get points. Whoever reaches 5 points first, wins! This was a sub-gamemode for Duels.

The Pit

The Pit is a gigantic PvP arena game mode where players jump down a pit, armed with an iron sword and iron bow with 15 arrows, armor protection, and take each other out to earn coins and XP. Players can use the coins to buy temporary upgrades or perks and XP to be allowed to buy the perks.

Solos

This was used to be a sub-gamemode for Bedwars. Like I said, you work alone in this gamemode. But it got removed soon...

Walls

Walls was probably a PVP gamemode. I do not really know this gamemode. Even the wiki barely knows this gamemode. It's probably a PVP and there was a huge wall or something like that...

Prison

Pirates

Survival Royale

The Survival Royale gamemode is pretty much fortnite in Bloxd.io. When you start, the grace period starts. When the grace period stops, it means you can pvp with other people now. You are also given a compass to the nearest player. Anyways, Survival Royale is literally survival but fortnite so you have to craft stuff to win.

There was also secret gamemodes which are gamemodes but it's secret. Here is the list:

TestMode

The TestMode gamemode still exists. But it was not in Bloxd.... It was in another version of bloxd called staging.bloxd.io. This was probably a gamemode used for testing like the name itself...

Bloxd

Bloxd has no name or description. It also can't load and you are stuck in the rendering screen. It was only accessible when Greenville won the gamemode voting stuff. Arthur (The game developer) immediately removed it after it was noticed by players. It was confirmed that it was a testing gamemode or something like that....
